Kaverman Picks Off a Bluff From Weinand

Level 6 : 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante

On a board showed {7-Diamonds}{4-Spades}{2-Spades}{K-Diamonds}, Byron Kaverman was first to act from the big blind in a pot against Daniel Weinand in the hijack. Kaverman checked and Weinand put out a bet of 12,000. Kaverman thought it over for a bit, then called creating a pot of right around 40,000.

The river was the {J-Clubs} and Kaverman checked over to Weinand again. Weinand put out 32,000. Kaverman dropped into the tank. He burned through a time extension, thinking until he settled on a call. Weinand turned up his {A-Clubs}{4-Clubs} for a pair of fours and it was no good as Kaverman called with {8-Clubs}{7-Hearts} for a slightly better pair.

With that, Kaverman took down the pot and moved to about 165,000 while Weinand was left with roughly 180,000 after the hand.
