Only 10 Remain; Who Wants the $1 Million Top Prize?
Welcome to the third and final day of play in the 2015 River Poker Series $2,500 Main Event. At 12 p.m. local time, the final 10 players will return for a chance at a life-changing top prize of $1 million. Leading the way is Florida's Andy Andrejevic with 5.58 million, and sitting in second place is Barry Hutter with 4.835 million.
All of the remaining players have locked up at least $30,000 after reaching this point from the starting field of 1,164 entries. Once one more player is eliminated, the official final table will be set with everyone earning nearly $45,000 in prize money.
To start the day, Numit Agrawal will be the player the most at risk of finishing in 10th. He's the shortest stack with just 540,000, and the blinds will be 30,000/60,000/10,000 to start the day.
Joining Andrejevic, Hutter, and Agrawal are Jake Haller, Lonny Hardcastle, Douglas Claybrook, Jose Montes, Patana Pradith, Maxx Coleman, and Joseph Skinner.
Some of the notables to bust in the money on Day 2 were Clint Tolbert (110th - $4,000), Maria Ho (97th - $4,500), Joe Kuether (77th - $5,000), James Mordue (56th - $6,000), Ray Henson (41st - $7,000), Bronson Tucker (33rd - $8,000), and Cord Garcia (22nd - $12,000).
The cards will be in the air at noon, and you can keep it locked right here to PokerNews for continued coverage as the event plays down to a champion.
