Kristen Bicknell and Sam Chartier Register Late
Several players have chosen to register late, and that includes two familiar faces on the Canadian scene: Kristen Bicknell and Sam Chartier.
Both are decorated players with impressive poker resumes. Chartier has just shy of $3 million in live earnings, along with a WSOP circuit ring and titles from events on the EPT, PCA, and the WPT Five Diamond World Poker Classic. He also won the 2014 PokerStars Canada Cup High Roller right here on his home turf, booking a win worth over $122,000.
Bicknell is just about ready to crack the million-dollar mark in live cashes, and has two WSOP gold bracelets along with millions of hands played online. She made her start playing online poker and dominated before now transitioning to the live scene. She has yet to cash here at Playground, so look for her to be super focused on making deep runs over the next two weeks.
