Michel Berube Bags Top Stack on All-Stars for Starlight Day 1d
After 14 levels of play, Day 1d of the All-Stars for Starlight has come to an end. A total of 252 entries took a seat in the charity event of the World Cup of Cards at Playground Poker Club. There were 47 players remaining when the last hand of the night played out.
Leading the way on Day 1d was Michel Berube. Berube navigated a top stack for most of the day, climbing over top Christopher Baaklini (275,000) and Nicolai Reviakin (257,000) towards the end of the night.
Other big stacks in the room were Charles-Eric Benoit (239,000), Alexandre Chapdelaine (205,000), Sebastien Proulx (196,000), and Jean-Philippe Binet (191,500).
Some notables also moving on to Day 2 include Rodney Ramalho, Alexandre Nadeau-Levesque, Timothy Deering, and Spencer Stacey.
Tonight's flight was the last chance to qualify for Day 2. Players unable to book a seat for Day 2 include Richard Figiel, Norman Messier, Dave S, and Diana Shamshoum.
The final flight of the no-limit hold'em Event #6: $160 All-Stars for Starlight had the largest field of the four starting flights. In total, there were 850 entries received, meaning $21,250 has been raised for the Starlight Children��s Foundation Canada.

Day begins at 1 p.m. local time in Kahnawake, Quebec where the 166 strong field will play down to a final table of ten.
