Kenneth Wigfield is the winner of Event #2 $170 No Limit Hold em Bounty at Playground Poker Club's World Cup of Cards. He won CAD $3,766 and earned CAD $100 for each knockout.
He outlasted Sebastien Poirier, who finished in second place, when the two got all in preflop. Wigfield held against the of Poirier. The board didn't bring a pair for either player and Wigfield won the pot and tournament with king high.

Wigfield earned 14 bounties on his way to a victory. He almost won the tournament a couple hands before when Poirier went runner, runner to a flush. Wigfield and Poirier both thought the tournament was over and that Wigfield won the hand with trip fives after flopping a pair and a straight draw. After a moment, Poirier realized he had the , which was good enough to make a flush and win the pot. In the end, it only delayed the inevitable and Wigfield went on to win a few hands later.
