When the tournament was eight-handed, the players made a deal based on their stacks at the time. Here are the breakdowns of the payouts.

In the end, Fraser beat the other six players to get the $650 they left on top and left Allan Petitclerc to collect the $200 designated for the second place finisher. As per the World Cup of Cards rules, two percent of the total prize pool has to be left up top minimum in any deal. Also, the first place prize has to that much more than second place. In this case, $650 to the winner and $200 to the runner-up.
The tournament paid twelve players and the action moved quickly when they broke to a final table. Diana Shamshoum went from chip leader with 14 left to bust in eighth place. She missed a couple of preflop all ins and eventually busted to Bob T.
Then, after the deal was made, Benoit Laurence went all in blind with about two big blinds. He was also eliminated by Bob T who called with kings. Medhat Ramzy busted to Malcom Fraser when both players failed to connect with the flop. Fraser won with ace high.
Jared Newcombe was next to go and busted to the pocket queens of Shelley Rapp. Then in quick succession, Michel Merlitti and Shelly Rapp were both eliminated. At this point in the tournament the average stack was about 17 big blinds.
Bob T finished in third and shortly after that Malcom Fraser locked up his win, beating Allan Petitclerc in a quick heads up match.
