Level 16
George Danzer - 6th Place
George Danzer - 6th Place

Seven-Card Stud Hi-Lo

After being crippled in the previous hand, George Danzer was all in for his last 200 chips as the 500 ante was already in the pot from everyone. All opponents except Sam Khouiss made the call and then checked down to sixth street, where Jason Gray bet 4,000 to scare off everyone else.

Danzer: {X-} {X-} / {4-Clubs}?{9-Diamonds}?{K-Spades}?{J-Diamonds}?{J-Spades}
Young: {X-}?{X-}?/ {3-Spades}?{7-Hearts}?{2-Spades}?{10-Diamonds} / fold
Rast: {X-}?{X-}?/ {7-Diamonds}?{Q-Clubs}?{8-Spades}?{J-Clubs} / fold
Zhao: {X-}?{X-}?/ {6-Clubs}?{10-Clubs}?{A-Clubs}?{9-Hearts}?/ fold
Gray: {X-} {X-} / {7-Clubs}?{7-Spades}?{6-Diamonds}?{5-Diamonds}?{4-Diamonds}

Danzer flipped over {2-Clubs} {9-Spades} {9-Diamonds} and improved to two pair jacks and nines with the last card to win the high pot, whereas had worse two pair with the {4-Spades} {2-Hearts} {4-Diamonds} and a 7-6 low.

The next hand, Danzer was all in for 1,500 and got called by Brian Rast and Rory Young. Rast bet 5,000 on sixth street and that scared off Young.

Danzer: {X-} {X-} / {7-Hearts}?{K-Spades}?{8-Clubs}?{6-Spades}
Young: {X-} {X-} / {A-Diamonds}?{J-Clubs}?{Q-Diamonds}?{8-Spades} / fold
Rast: {X-} {X-} / {2-Diamonds} {5-Diamonds} {5-Clubs} {5-Hearts}

Danzer revealed {K-Hearts}?{9-Diamonds} and Rast showed {Q-Hearts}?{4-Clubs} ... drawing the {5-Spades} on seventh to make quads and send the German to the rail.

2-7 Triple Draw

Rory Young opened to 4,000 and Sam Khouiss called from the big blind and drew two to Young's one. Khouiss checked, Young bet 2,000 and Khouiss check-raised to 4,000 with Young calling. Khouiss stood pat and Young drew one with Khouiss betting and Young calling.

The final draw saw Khouiss stand pat again as Young drew one as Khouiss bet out another 4,000.

"You put in all that money and you're drawing dead? What a donkey!" laughed Khouiss in the direction of Young.

Young rechecked his hole cards numerous times before folding.

"I'll always give you guys a chance. Just a number two" stated Khouiss and revealed his {7-}{6-}{4-}{3-}{2-} to scoop the pot and take the chip lead.

Where is Zhao?

Level 15

The final table was supposed to start at 12:10 p.m. but both Rory Young and Brian Rast were late.

Unfortunately David Zhao isn't here yet either, but having waiting nearly 20 minutes already, WSOP Tournament Director Jack Effel however has decided to put the cards in the air to further prevent the delay of this final table.
