Hands #48-52: Tran Leaves Hellmuth Short
Hand #48: Steven Zhou limped from the cutoff and then folded when Phil Hellmuth made it 18,000 to go.
Hand #49: Alexander Antonios raised to 13,500 from the button and took down the blinds and antes.
Hand #50: Antonios made it 11,500 from the cutoff and nobody was interested to invest any chips.
Hand #51: Zhou raised to 12,500 from the small blind and Hellmuth defended his big blind to the ?? flop. Both players checked and Zhou bet 11,000 on the turn. Hellmuth raised to 40,000 and that shut down all further action.
Hand #52: Michael Tran raised to 11,500 and Hellmuth squeezed it to 32,000 out of the small blind. Tran looked at the stack of the "Poker Brat" and Hellmuth then told him he had about 150,000 in chips. "That would be a nice addition to my stack," Tran said. Further small talk followed and then Tran said "Now you talked me into a call" before putting in the extra chips.
On the ?? flop Hellmuth quickly bet 35,000 and Tran called after some consideration. After the turn, Hellmuth made it 47,000 and Tran slid forward a stack of yellow T-5,000 chips for a raise. Hellmuth immediately jumped out of his chair in disguise and the floor double checked that it would be indeed a legit min-raise. Hellmuth ended up mucking his cards and wasn't too happy about it
