Hand #47: Jack Salter raised to 90,000 from the small blind and then called when Scott Davies three-bet to 275,000 from the big. The {6-Spades}{3-Spades}{4-Diamonds} flop saw Salter fold to a bet of 185,000 from Davies.

Hand #48: Davies limped the small blind, Salter checked his option, and the flop came down {k-Clubs}{9-Hearts}{3-Diamonds}. Salter check-called a bet of 40,000 and then check-folded to one of 90,000 on the {5-Hearts} turn.

Hand #49: Salter raised to 90,000 and then folded when Davies three-bet to 275,000.

Hand #50: Davies called from the button, Salter checked his option, and the flop fell {10-Hearts}{4-Spades}{4-Clubs}. Salter check-called a bet of 40,000 and then led out for 75,000 on the {A-Clubs} turn. Davies called and then watched Salter bet 365,000 on the {7-Clubs} river. Davies hit the tank for several minutes before releasing his hand.

"I'll let you bluff me," he explained.

Hand #41: Jack Salter raised to 90,000 on the button, and Scott Davies folded from the big blind.

Hand #42: Scott Davies limped in from the button, and Jack Salter checked his option from the big blind to see the {A-Clubs}{Q-Clubs}{6-Clubs} flop. Salter checked, Davies bet 40,000, and Salter folded.

Hand #43: Jack Salter made it 90,000 to go from the button, and Scott Davies called from the big blind to see the {Q-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}{8-Clubs} flop. Davies and Salter checked, and the turn was the {7-Clubs}. Davies bet 100,000, and Salter called.

The river completed the board with the {3-Hearts}, and Davies led with a bet of 370,000. Salter gave it up, and Davies took down the pot.

Hand #45: Jack Salter raised to 90,000 on the button, and Scott Davies folded from the big blind.

Hand #46: Scott Davies called from the button, and Jack Salter exercised his option from the big blind with a raise to 115,000. Davies folded, and Salter won the pot.

Hand #35: Scott Davies raised to 80,000 from the button and Jack Salter defended from the big blind. Both players checked the {2-Hearts}{3-Hearts}{7-Clubs} flop as well as the {K-Clubs} turn, and then Davies bet 45,000 on the {A-Hearts} river. Salter called but mucked just as soon as Davies rolled over the {a-Clubs}{q-Spades}.

Hand #36: Henry Wang raised to 100,000 from the button, Davies called from the big blind, and then both players checked the {10-Spades}{7-Hearts}{9-Diamonds} flop. Wang called a bet of 60,000 on the {3-Clubs} turn, but folded to one of 190,000 on the {7-Diamonds} river.

Hand #37: Salter raised to 85,000 on the button, Davies and Wang called from the small and big blind respectively, and the flop came down {5-Hearts}{4-Diamonds}{2-Clubs}. Two checks saw Salter bet 110,000, only Wang called, and then both players checked the {10-Diamonds} turn. When the {3-Spades} completed the board on the river, Wang checked for a third time and folded when Salter bet 190,000.

Hand #38: Davies opened for 80,000 from the button and Wang three-bet jammed for roughly 800,000. Salter got out of the way and Davies snap-called.

"Two spades on the flop please," Wang said as he stood up. Davies was already standing as were the railbirds in Studio 3.

The {2-Clubs}{q-Clubs}{k-Diamonds} flop gave Wang a sweat, and a smile crossed his face. The {4-Hearts} turn meant he needed either a king or nine on the river, and he wasn't shy about asking for it.

"You can do it," he told the dealer. "Deep breath. Deal the nine of diamonds. Nine of diamonds only."

The crowd got a good laugh, and it'd be the last time Wang entertained as the {2-Diamonds} river put an end to his 2014 WSOP APAC Main Event in third place for AU$343,805.

Davies and Salter Battling

Hand #32: Scott Davies had the button and raised to 80,000. Jack Salter called from the big blind, and the flop came down {J-Spades}{8-Hearts}{6-Hearts}. Both players opted to check the flop and pick up the action on the {7-Diamonds} turn. That's where Salter bet 115,000, and Davies called.

The river was the {3-Diamonds} to complete the board, and Salter bet 290,000. Davies tanked for a bit, but folded in the end, and said that he was really looking forward to seeing what Salter had on TV in a little while.

Hand #33: Henry Wang had the button, and he folded. Jack Salter completed the bet from the small blind, and Scott Davies checked his option in the big blind to see the {A-Clubs}{8-Clubs}{6-Spades} flop. Salter led for 50,000, and Davies raised to 150,000. Salter gave it up, and Davies won the pot.

"Henry, you must be losing this �� us battling it out," said Davies with a laugh. "It's the dream situation for you."

Hand #34: Jack Salter had the button. He raised and took down the blinds and antes.

Hand #27: Jack Salter raised to 85,000 and claimed the blinds and antes, he showed ace-jack.

Hand #28: Scott Davies raised to 80,000 from the cutoff and Salter called in the big blind. The Brit check-called 110,000 on the {K-Diamonds}?{Q-Diamonds}?{A-Clubs} flop and then bet the {9-Spades} turn for 195,000 to take down the pot.

Hand #29: Salter limped from the small blind and Davies checked his option one seat over. On the {J-Clubs}?{8-Hearts}?{Q-Hearts} flop, Salter led out and Davies quickly mucked his cards.

Hand #30: Henry Wang made it 85,000 to go and scooped the blinds and antes.

Hand #31: Salter raised to 85,000, Davies three-bet to 205,000 on the button and Kyle Montgomery moved all in from the small blind. Wang in the big blind as well as Salter folded whereas Davies called.

Before the flop was dealt, Davies asked for his one time. "I never asked for it in my life," he said with a grin on the face. The {4-Hearts}?{7-Hearts} {9-Diamonds} flop was good for Davies and the {2-Spades} on the turn changed nothing either. While Montgomery remained very calm, Davies walked around the table, impatiently waiting for the river to fall. The {5-Hearts} completed the board and the rail of Davies cheered loudly.

Montgomery was eliminated in 4th place for a payday of AU$231,287 and Davies is now almost even in chips with Salter.

Hand #26: Jack Salter had the button, and Henry Wang raised to 65,000 from under the gun. Everyone folded, and Wang took the last pot before the break.

Hand #22: Jack Salter raised to 65,000 and got called by Kyle Montgomery in the big blind. Both players checked the {K-Clubs}?{9-Hearts}?{4-Diamonds} flop and Salter then took down the pot with a bet of 90,000 on the {Q-Spades} turn.

Hand #23: Scott Davies raised to 60,000 from the button and Montgomery moved all in from one seat over. Henry Wang folded in the big blind and Davies did so as well.

Hand #24: Davies raised to 60,000 from the cutoff and Montgomery shoved on him for the second time in a row. Wang and Salter folded in the blinds and this time, Davies made the call.
