Van der Ven "Left His Balls at Home", Boyaciyan Steals a Big One
As we approached table 21, Dutch online pro Floris van der Ven and MCOP champion and two time EPT Prague finalist David Boyaciyan were tangling in a rather large pot. After the hand concluded both players and Fatima Moreira de Melo who was sitting in between the two of 'em, were all smiles. So we were kind of obligated to invest what had happened.
Boyaciyan was first to open up, and he told his version of what had happened, with a smily Moreira de Melo adding some context and details every now and then.
Boyaciyan told us a player limped and he made a raise from the button. "550!' Moreira de Melo added. Floris van der Ven in the big blind three-bet to 1,600 and the limper folded. Boyaciyan told us he wasn't convinced by Van der Ven's strength, "so I floated, I mean I called" laughed Boyaciyan.
On a flop of 
, Van der Ven made a "weak bet of 1,300" Boyaciyan laughed, "He showed insecurity, so I floated again."

Van der Ven told us he had 
, but we'll never know for sure if that was the case. Boyaciyan plays almost 40,000, Van der Ven dropped down to 24,000.
