Seven From Heaven

Level 20 : 3,000/6,000, 1,000 ante

We didn't see how the money got in, but when we walked up to the table, there was nearly 400,000 chips piled in the middle. Eric Utter had the shortest stack and the worst hand with {A-Spades} {4-Spades}, and Douglas Lang was in the middle with {7-Clubs} {7-Spades}. Mstr Lynch had both players covered, and he had very much the best of it with {9-Clubs} {9-Hearts}.

The {K-Spades} {Q-Clubs} {10-Clubs} flop gave Utter a little crack to try and squeeze into. The turn {4-Clubs} was even more help, opening up another two outs to the win. Lynch was standing behind his chair asking the dealer to, "Hold."

His request fell on deaf ears. The {7-Diamonds} ripped off on the river, and Lynch turned away from the table in disgust. He's left with just about 55,000 chips, and that's still 55,000 more than Utter. He's out, and Lang is now chasing the chip leaders with 390,000 in front of him now.
