Big Pot for Brown
Traci Brown and Joel Merwick are seated side-by-side here in Tunica. If you recall, Brown was the second-place finisher in the Main Event at the previous WSOPC stop at Choctaw.
In a recent hand, five players saw a flop of and action checked to Brown in the cutoff. She bet 400, Merwick raised to 1,000 from the button, Seat 8 called, and Brown called the remaining 600. When the hit the turn, action really took off after action checked to Merwick and he bet 2,300 only to have Seat 8 respond with an all-in check-raise to 17,875. Brown was clearly perplexed but eventually moved all in herself for 19,100. Merwick was perhaps the most flabbergasted as he reluctantly folded.

Seat 8:
The table was clearly surprised Seat 8 had pushed with just a flush draw, which missed as the hit the river. "I win, wow!" Brown said in disbelief. Indeed she did, increasing her stack to around 45,000 in the process.
