Roppolo Takes a Hit
We picked up the action on the flop as the dealer rolled out . Daniel Cohen checked, then called a bet from his lone opponent, Joseph Roppolo.
That brought them to the turn, and Roppolo bet 45,000 this time. Cohen check-called again, and the filled out the board on fifth street. Cohen checked again, and this time Roppolo made a healthier bet of 130,000. Surprisingly, Cohen check-raised all in for 215,000, and Roppolo sunk in his chair.
"Augh! You flopped it..." he said, trailing off. "I call."
Cohen had indeed flopped it, tabling his to take down that pot. Roppolo has slipped back to 860,000 courtesy of that big pot.
