Markus Prinz Leads Going Into Day 3 of the WSOP International Circuit Main Event
At the conclusion of an elongated Day 2 of the WSOP International Circuit Main Event from Rozvadov, it is Markus Prinz who leads the remaining 27 in their pursuit of the title, €183,350 in prize money, a much-coveted WSOP Circuit gold ring and a spot in the Global Casino Championship.
With 236 players returning, in addition to a number of players who bought in at the start of Day 2, it was always going to need a longer than usual day to whittle it down to a manageable size for Day 3.
One of the people who bought in at the start of the day was Czech anti-hero Martin Kabrhel. Fresh from winning the WSOPC 6-Max ring on Saturday night, a feat he achieved alongside firing two bullets in Day 1b, Kabrhel took to his seat like a duck to water. Kabrhel was still in action when the day drew to a close, and will by eyeing a second circuit ring in three days when play resumes tomorrow.
The prizepool was also confirmed today, with 71 of the 651 players making the money, and a min-cash worth €3,610.
As the bubble drew ever nearer, the big names started to tumble with the likes of Pierre Neuville, Sam Grafton, Martin Staszko, Sebastian Malec and Marcin Horecki all falling short.
The unfortunate bubble boy was Karol Radomski whose pocket queens failed to hold against the Ace-King of [Removed:197]. With that the bustouts began in earnest and despite the slightly longer day than usual, there was a steady trickle of eliminations as the night drew to a close.
The remaining 27 players, led by Prinz, will return at 14.00 tomorrow to battle it out for the title. There is no runaway chip leader, with the chip lead being shared by the likes of Ngoc Bui Hai, Waldemar Kopyl, Lukasz Wasek and Marian Flesar.
