Another Miss for Bensimhon

Level 3 : 400/800, 800 ante
Eyal Bensimhon
Eyal Bensimhon

Eyal Bensimhon's success rate in three-bet pots hasn't been something to write home about yet as he had to surrender another one, this time to Anton Morgenstern who just reentered.

It was Morgenstern who raised to 2,000 and Bensimhon three-bet to 7,500 from the blinds, which the German called. Bensimhon bet 8,000 on the {2-Spades}{8-Spades}{5-Spades} flop and Morgenstern called. The {10-Spades} turn went check-check and Bensimhon folded the river to a bet from Morgenstern, who flicked in a 25k chip and announced a slightly lower amount.

Morgenstern First One Out

Level 3 : 400/800, 800 ante

The first one to make a quick trip to the cashier was Anton Morgenstern, who didn't get there with a flush draw on {2-Hearts}{2-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}{6-Clubs}{a-Clubs}. Michael Sklenicka had {k-Spades}{2-Spades} for trip deuces to scoop up Morgenstern's stack.

Meanwhile, Vadym Sienichkin, Akan Kaya and Jakob Miegel have entered the event to bring the field to two tables.

Boesch Ramps Up the Pressure

Level 2 : 300/600, 600 ante

With the board completed at {9-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}{3-Hearts}{2-Hearts}{5-Hearts} and after substantial earlier action, it was Oliver Boesch who moved all in for 71,400 from the small blind. Opponent in the hand was Viktor Walter, who took nearly three minutes before mucking his hand.

Boesch scooped up the sizable pot to become the early frontrunner.

Anton Morgenstern raised to 1,500 from under the gun, Viktor Walter called to his left and Moritz Dietrich called one seat over as well. Eyal Bensimhon three-bet to 7,500 in middle position and Morgenstern folded. Walter called and Dietrich peeled as well.

The flop came down {6-Diamonds}{4-Hearts}{3-Hearts} and Bensimhon continued for 9,000 after two checks, with Dietrich as the sole caller. The board ran down {6-Spades}{2-Spades} and both Dietrich and Bensimhon checked it down.

Dietrich revealed {7-Spades}{7-Diamonds} to win the hand as Bensimhon mucked.

Moritz Can't Shake Boesch

Level 1 : 200/400, 400 ante

In a three-bet pot between Oliver Boesch and Moritz Dietrich on the button, the flop came down {10-Hearts}{q-Spades}{7-Hearts}. Boesch checked to Dietrich, who bet 8,000, and the Austrian slid in a call. Both players checked it down on the {8-Spades} turn and {4-Diamonds} river.

Boesch turned over {a-Clubs}{10-Diamonds} for a pair of tens and Dietrich mucked his hand.
