Fortin-Demers Goes for it All on the Turn
There was an under the gun open to 1,200 before he got a call from middle position, Roberto Paniccia in the small blind, and Alexandre Fortin-Demers in the big blind.
The 6?4?K? flop landed and Paniccia quickly led into the field for 2,800 and only got a call from Fortin-Demers and the original raiser.
The 4? turn landed and Paniccia led again for 7,500 and Fortin-Demers went into the tank. After about a minute he moved all in for about 29,000. The under the gun player folded and then action was back on Paniccia who stood up and began to contemplate the call. He cut out the chips and after a couple minute he tossed them in.
Alexandre Fortin-Demers: 9?4?
Roberto Paniccia: K?J?
Fortin-Demers had the four for trips and would improve to a boat on the 9? river. He would get the pure double but Paniccia still has plenty of chips to stay in the mix.
