Vince Procopio's Roller Coaster

Adrian Velez raises to 100,000 and Vince Procopio re-raises to 416,000 all in. Velez calls and shows {9-Clubs}{9-Spades}. Procopio has {A-Clubs}{K-Spades} and the board is {4-Diamonds}{6-Clubs}{Q-Spades}{6-Spades}{8-Spades}. Procopio is crippled.

A few hands later, he shoves for 19,000. Eric Buchman re-raises to 100,000 and gets no other callers. He takes some back and has {K-Spades}{J-Diamonds} to Procopio's {10-Spades}{6-Spades}. It appears to be over for the night ... but the board is {K-Clubs}{2-Diamonds}{5-Hearts}{3-Diamonds}{4-Spades} and the gutshot gives Procopio more than six times what he started with thanks to blinds and antes. He has 130,000.
