Chris Overgard= The Comeback Kid

On a flop of {A-Diamonds}{A-Spades}{3-Clubs}, Chris Overgard checked, Liz Lieu bet, Overgard raised and Lieu called. The turn was the {8-Hearts}. Overgard bet, Lieu raised, and Overgard called all in. Lieu showed the {A-Hearts}{5-Hearts} while Overgard had her trips out-kicked with the {A-Clubs}{Q-Clubs}. The river was the {4-Diamonds} and Overgard dragged the monster pot.

Overgard was up to 22,000 after the hand, nearly ten times what he started the day with.

I Spoke to Phil Hellmuth...

....in the Sequestrium before the event today. When I asked him what he thought about the tent, his answer was: "Lovely."

Pressed for more information Phil just smiled. He seems ready to play and not willing to let even the unusual surroundings distract him.

Our coverage will begin around 3:30 when the webcast begins to stream.
