Doyle Brunson finds himself in short stack territory after a recent hand with Michael Binger and Tom Schneider. After Binger raised to 13,000, Brunson and Schneider called from the blinds. Each man drew one card. Brunson bet 25,000 after the draw and was called only by Schneider, who showed 10-8. Brunson did not show his hand before he mucked it.
That hand crippled Brunson to about 20,000 in chips. He was all in shortly thereafter against Nikolay Edvakov. Brunson stood pat with a king-queen(!) after Edvakov drew two. It was a good decision; Edvakov paired tens.
Brunson is currently nursing a stack of about 41,000.
