Bubble Boy

Action for this hand was folded around to the blinds, where Magnus Petersson opened with a raise to 15,000. John D'Agostino made it 30,000, and Petersson moved all in having Dags covered. He made the call, and the cards were turned up:

Petersson: {K-Spades} {K-Diamonds} {Q-Spades} {7-Diamonds}
D'Agostino: {A-Clubs} {A-Diamonds} {8-Diamonds} {5-Hearts}

Petersson was well-behind and needed help to avoid being crippled right on the money bubble. Help found him in a big way, as the flop rolled out {7-Spades} {7-Clubs} {2-Spades}. Now it was D'Agostino behind, and in danger of being knocked out on the bubble. The turn and river came {4-Hearts} and {8-Clubs} respectively, useless cards for Dags. In his words, there's "No shame in finishing 37th," and that's exactly what has happened to our bubble boy, John D'Agostino.
