Roman Invasion Decimates Prescott

Stud-8:

Allie Prescott (X) (X) {A-Spades} {7-Hearts} {9-Diamonds} {4-Clubs} (X)
Roman Yitzhaki (X) (X) {5-Clubs} {8-Hearts} {6-Hearts} {A-Clubs} (X)

Mark Gregorich brought it in with the {3-Diamonds}, Allie Prescott completed, Roman Yitzhaki called and Gregorich folded. Prescott led out on fourth street and Yitzhaki called. Prescott check-called bets on sixth and seventh street.

Yitzhaki turned over {A-Diamonds} {2-Hearts} {Q-Diamonds} for an 8-6 low and a pair of aces for high. Prescott mucked and Yitzhaki scooped the pot, leaving Prescott with only a scant 75,000 in chips.

Dorin Wins Stud Pot But Makes Me Run Out Of Paper

Dor-in Front.
Dor-in Front.
Stud:

An unusually big multiway pot in the Stud-Hi game, causing much action and I'm just talking about me scribbling it all furiously down on my pad. All those football fields of trees in the rainforest do go to good use, you see.

Anyway:

Brunson: {J-Hearts} {8-Clubs} {3-Spades} {7-Spades}
Chiu: {J-Diamonds} {8-Hearts} {3-Clubs}
Dorin: {K-Hearts} {Q-Hearts} {3-Diamonds} {5-Hearts}
Van Alstyne: {9-Spades} {4-Hearts} {6-Hearts} {8-Clubs}
Friedman: {2-Clubs} {5-Clubs} {J-Spades} {K-Clubs}

Ok, deep breath. Friedman brought in and Doyle Brunson raised and got called in four spots. Brunson led the betting all the way until 6th with Chiu folding on 5th.

On 6th street, Dorin led out, Van Alstyne and Friedman folded and Brunson called, before he also called a bet on 7th. Dorin showed {6-Hearts} {7-Hearts} in the hole for a flush and we saw a flash of {A-?} {A-?} in Brunson's hand as disgutedly threw it into the muck.

Mike Likes It

Stud:

Mike Wattel (X) (X) {5-Spades} {8-Diamonds} {3-Spades} {3-Clubs}
Allie Prescott (X) (X) {5-Clubs} {A-Hearts} {8-Clubs} {10-Hearts}

Roman Yitzhaki had the bring-in with the {2-Clubs}, Huck Seed completed with the {4-Hearts}, Allie Prescott raised,and Mike Wattel reraised. Yitzhaki and Seed folded while Prescott made the call.

On fourth street Prescott made the high board and bet out. Wattel Called. Prescott check-called a bet on fifth. On sixth street Wattel made an open pair of threes and bet out. After a lengthy tank, Prescott folded, the substantial pot pushed Wattel's way.

Off His Todd!

Razz:

Powell: {3-Spades} {3-Hearts} {7-Hearts} {J-Spades}
Friedman: {3-Clubs} {8-Clubs} {4-Clubs} {J-Hearts}
Brunson: {5-Diamonds} {J-Clubs} {3-Diamonds} {A-Spades}

Powell raised after a jack brought in with Friedman and Brunson calling. Friedman took over the lead on 4th and 5th before Brunson led the beating on 6th.

At this point Powell folded but Friedman called on sixth and seventh only for Brunson to show him 7-6-5-3-A which was good as Powell could only flash {A-?} {5-?} for a 8-5-4-3-A low.

Soheil Shamseddin - 18th Place
Omaha-8:

Soheil Shamseddin raised to 30,000 from UTG, leaving himself 17,000 behind. Michael Binger reraised to 45,000 from the button, Shamseddin tossed in his last 2,000 and Binger called.

Shamseddin {A-Clubs} {2-Spades} {4-Spades} {7-Diamonds}
Binger {A-Spades} {2-Hearts} {4-Diamonds} {4-Clubs}

The board ran out {10-Hearts} {8-Diamonds} {5-Diamonds} {K-Spades} {8-Spades}. Binger made eights and fours for high, there was no possible low hand, and Shamseddin made his exit in 18th place.

After the hand, Binger was up to 150,000.

The Life Of Brian

Omaha-8:

Brian Powell has just suffered a couple of vicious swings, first down, then up in the Omaha Eight Or Better game.

Mike Wattel was doing all the betting on the turn and river of a {8-Hearts} {3-Spades} {J-Hearts} {4-Diamonds} {8-Clubs} board. Powell and Adam Friedman calling him down.

Friedman showed {A-Diamonds} {2-Spades} {5-Diamonds} {10-Clubs} for the nut low and Wattel showed {A-Clubs} {5-Spades} {8-Spades} {3-Diamonds} for a full house, Powell flashing Aces with the nut flush draw on the flop then mucking.

Soon after though, Powell got some chips back getting paid by Todd Brunson on a {7-?} {3-?} {5-?} {J-?} {10-?} board when he flipped {4-?} {3-?} {3-?} {2-?} which scooped the high and the low.
