Smith finished 9th in the $10,000 deuce-to-seven lowball world championship ($19,870), and 16th in the $10,000 heads-up world championship ($38,424).

He'll start the day sharing felt with 2009 WSOP bracelet winner Jason Mercier and Max 'The Italian Pirate' Pescatori.
