Noda Spikes His Ace

Jorg Peisert has had an excellent run today, but even he is prone to losing to a thin draw. Peisert opened for 150,000, then snap-called after Michael Noda moved all in. Noda knew he was in trouble with {A-Clubs} {2-Clubs}; Peisert showed {Q-Clubs} {Q-Diamonds}. Neither player hit the {7-Hearts} {j-Spades} {5-Spades} flop, but Noda spiked an ace with the {A-Hearts} turn. He dragged the pot after the river fell {8-Spades}.

That lucky turn card increased Noda's count to 1.75 million and brought Peisert back to the pack with 3.255 million.
