Billy Kopp was at it again on Blue #5. This time his opponents were Marc McLaughlin and Phil Ivey. McLaughlin opened preflop for 150,000. Kopp called from the button and Ivey called from the small blind to a flop of . Ivey checked to McLaughlin. He fired out 250,000, a bet that was called only by Kopp.
With Ivey out of the way, action proceeded to the turn. McLaughlin, out of position, opted to check-call 475,000 chips from Kopp. When the river fell , McLaughlin checked a second time. Kopp pushed out 13 "Hawaiian Flowers" -- those lavender chips that are worth 100,000 each. That, apparently, was too much for McLaughlin to call. He folded.
Kopp's back to 15.5 million as a result of that pot.
