Hand #78: Dwan Gets Value
David Randall has the button in Seat 8.
He makes it 150,000 to skate, and Tom Dwan calls from the big blind after shooting a bit of a sideways look at his neighbor.
The flop comes , and Dwan taps the table once. Randall cuts out 225,000 and puts them out in front of the invisible betting line, and he has to endure a long, unblinking stare from Dwan. "Durrrr" finally glances down at his chips and elects to make the call.
Turn:
That draws another Dwan check and Randall checks behind this time.
The river comes the , and Dwan slowly stacks out betting chips. He takes several long minutes to settle on 385,000. After another minute or so, Randall makes the call.
Dwan shows up , and that's good. Randall's cards go into the muck, Jon Aguiar yells, "Oh my goodness!" from the bleachers, and Dwan stacks the pot.
He's up to 2.43 million.
