Stivoli Not So Lucky

Jordan Morgan
Jordan Morgan

Jordan iMsoLucky0 Morgan raised his button to 2,400 and Mauro Stivoli defended his big blind. The flop ran out {6-Clubs}{5-Clubs}{K-Diamonds}, but neither player seemed interested, both cautiously tapping their finger against the felt.

On the {8-Hearts} turn, however, Stivoli was less hospitable, leading out for 3,000. Morgan made the call. The river brought a {Q-Clubs}, and Stivoli once again fired out a bet, this time 6,200.

Morgan pushed all in and Stivoli made the call, but mucked his cards upon being shown the bad news: Morgan had rivered a flush with {9-Clubs}{2-Clubs} and was through to Round 3.
