Sands Busto

We came to Barry Greenstein's table to see a huge pot developing. It appeared that Jordan Stone was contemplating an all-in bet from David Sands on the turn of a {8-Spades} {9-Diamonds} {2-Hearts} {k-Hearts} board. Stone tanked for about a minute and then got his chips in the middle.

"I don't have very much," said Sands. He opened {k-Diamonds}{6-Spades}{4-Spades}{3-Diamonds} for a single pair of kings and a weak low draw. Stone didn't have much either, with his {a-Clubs}{2-Spades}{10-Hearts}{k-Spades} making two pair, kings and deuces, with no low draw. The river came {9-Hearts} to give each player kings and nines, but Stone's ace kicker played to boot Sands to the rail.

Stone is up to 120,000.
