Petersen's Early Kings
No-Limit
It sure is nice to look down at pocket kings in the first orbit of Day 2 when you're below average in chips. That's what happened for Jesper Petersen and his stack of about 45,000, and he was more than happy to get it all in there preflop against Jeff Shulman.
The only problem for Petersen was that his ran smack into Shulman's , and it looked like he was going to have an awfully short Day 2.
The board ran out , and Shulman's aces hold up to earn him the pot and the early knockout. He's up to 105,000, and you can put Petersen at zero.
