Rutter Now Taking from Levi

Nicolas Levi continues to trend down.

Levi opened to 50,000 from under the gun and the action folded to Stuart Rutter in the big blind who three-bet to 140,000. Levi called and the two saw a flop of {2-Clubs}{Q-Clubs}{2-Spades}.

Rutter led for 175,000 and Levi mucked, dropping his stack to 1,252,000 chips. Rutter chipped up to 1,920,000.

Elpayaa Takes One From Levi

Following some heavy betting action preflop, Nicolas Levi fired out 180,000 on a {Q-Diamonds}{2-Clubs}{10-Diamonds} flop with Joseph Elpayaa making the call.

Both players checked the {J-Diamonds} on the turn to see the {K-Hearts} land on the river and Levi check over to Elpayaa who opted to fire out 420,000.

Sitting in the tank for several minutes, Levi eventually choose to fold his hand while slipping to 1,370,000 as Elpayaa climbs to 2,860,000 in chips.

Brent Hanks Eliminated in 6th Place ($71,998)

Brent Hanks eliminated in 6th place
Brent Hanks eliminated in 6th place

Brent Hanks opened to 60,000 from the small blind only to have Nicolas Levi three-bet to 160,000. Hanks deliberated for a few moments before pushing roughly his last 600,000 all in and getting instantly called by Levi.

Hanks: {A-Clubs}{Q-Clubs}
Levi: {7-Diamonds}{7-Spades}

The flop of {9-Spades}{9-Hearts}{5-Spades} kept Levi in the lead, and when the {7-Clubs} landed on the turn it gave him a lock on the hand.

With the meaningless {3-Clubs} falling on the river, Hanks made his way round the table shaking hands with his opponents before vacating the final table in 6th place for a $71,998 payday.

Aces For Channing?

Neil Channing talking it up!
Neil Channing talking it up!

Neil Channing opened to 48,000 from the cutoff only to have Stuart Rutter bump it to 140,000 from the big blind.

With the action back on Channing he four-bet to 415,000 to prompt an eventual fold from Rutter.

Channing dropped his head a little, let out a sigh flashing the {A-Hearts} and mucking. When asked what card he showed though, he said the ace of spades.

Is this good sport or the truth?

One Pair Enough For Channing

As the action folded round to Nicolas Levi in the small blind, he bumped it to 62,000 with Neil Channing making the call.

Levi fired out 60,000 on the {8-Diamonds}{3-Clubs}{4-Spades} flop and Channing made the call before both players checked the {9-Hearts} on the turn.

The river landed the {J-Hearts} and after a check from Levi, Channing fired out 90,000 which Levi called.

Channing tabled his {Q-Clubs}{8-Hearts} for middle pair which was enough to take down the pot.

Hanks Gets Walk

Brent Hanks is the second player to get a walk at the final table after the table folded round to him.

Unfortunately for Hanks he will need many more walks to get back in the game as he is our short stack with just on 760,000 and change.
