Easily the most experienced player on the table, Neil Channing boasts career earnings of over $2,400,000 after making the switch from bookmaker to professional poker player.
After spending his formative years on the felt viewed as a donator in live tournaments it wasn’t until 2008 where he broke the shackles to be renowned as one of the United Kingdom’s best players after he took down the €801,400 first prize in the €4,200 Paddy Poker Irish Open.
Will full confidence heading into the 2008 WSOP, Channing managed to snatch seven cashes to take his tally to twenty-one at the start of the 2010 WSOP. Unfortunately for Channing only one of those was at a final table, and with his second today in a format he has had much success in, he will be looking at breaking his drought and becoming the second Englishman to win a bracelet this year.
