Bill Chen Eliminated in 4th Place ($100,200)

Level 25 : 15,000/30,000, 5,000 ante
Bill Chen eliminated in 4th place
Bill Chen eliminated in 4th place

With just 345,000 left, Bill Chen moved all in and found a caller in, who else, David Diaz.

Chen: {K-Hearts}{5-Spades}
Diaz: {J-Spades}{10-Spades}

The flop was kind to Chen who was ahead with K-high when it came {7-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}{6-Clubs}. The turn was cruel to Chen though as the {j-Diamonds} fell and left him with just the three remaining Kings. The river bricked with the {2-Spades} and Chen was eliminated in 4th place.

Diaz Flops the Nuts

Level 25 : 15,000/30,000, 5,000 ante

From the button, Bill Chen raised to 70,000 and David Diaz three bet to 190,000 from the small blind. The big blind folded and Bill Chen called.

The flop was {8-Clubs}{7-Clubs}{3-Clubs} and David Diaz led out for 150,000. Within a few seconds Bill Chen announced he was all in and David Diaz snap called.

Chen: {K-Clubs}{J-Hearts}
Diaz: {A-Clubs}{10-Clubs}

Diaz had flopped the nuts and already had Chen drawing dead. Diaz started the hand with about 1.1 Million chips to Chen's 1.425 Million so we don't have a bust out yet, but Chen is hurting. Diaz now sits as the chip leader with 2.25 Million chips.

Dato: {7-Hearts} {7-Clubs}

Board: {3-Hearts} {A-Hearts} {2-Spades} {Q-Spades} {J-Diamonds}

After pairing on the turn Diaz is now almost even with the table.

Diaz Goes All In Twice and Chops... Twice

Level 25 : 15,000/30,000, 5,000 ante

In back to back hands David Diaz was all in preflop with an inferior Ace to his opponent and paired the board twice to stay alive.

First, his {A-Clubs}{4-Spades} split with the {A-Hearts}{9-Diamonds} of Andrea Dato on a {K-Spades}{8-Hearts}{k-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds} board. The very next hand he got it in against Anders Meli this time. His {A-Spades}{7-Hearts} was behind the {A-Hearts}{j-Spades} of Meli until the river when the board came out {Q-Diamonds}{2-Clubs}{5-Diamonds}{q-Hearts}{5-Hearts}.

Diaz can only smile and take back the 425,000 that he has left.

Andrea Dato opened from under the gun to 60,000. Corey Hastings called from the small blind and they went heads up to the flop.

The dealer spread the {9-Clubs}{Q-Hearts}{k-Diamonds} and both players checked. The turn was the {A-Diamonds} and Hastings fired 60,000 which Dato called. The river was the {5-Diamonds} and this time Hastings led for 75,000. Dato decided to move him all in and Hastings called. Dato quickly flipped over {Q-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds} for the nuts and Hastings just smiled and turned over two black Aces.

Richard Trigg eliminated in 6th Place

Having been crippled just a few hands earlier, Richard Trigg raised to 60,000 from under the gun. The small blind, Bill Chen, and the big blind, Corey Hastings both called.

The flop was {2-Clubs}{5-Spades}{2-Hearts} and the two players checked to Trigg who put his last 25,000 into the pot. Chen and Hastings called, each taking their shot to eliminate another player.

The turn was the {6-Clubs} and both players left with action checked. The river was the {3-Diamonds} and Chen fired out 50,000. Hastings folded and Chen revealed {A-}{4-} for a wheel. With that, Trigg mucked his hand and became our 6th place finisher.
