Weissman is a Winner

From under the gun, Cyrus Partow raised the action to 15,000. Players folded all the way around to Joey Weissman in the big blind, who decided that this was his time to move all in for 73,000. Partow made the call, flipping up {A-Spades}{Q-Spades}. Weissman held {9-Clubs}{9-Hearts}.

The flop brought much drama, falling {2-Spades}{9-Spades}{A-Clubs}, giving Weissman trip nines, but also providing Partow with a pair of aces and spades as immediate outs. The {8-Clubs} came on the turn, leaving Partow with any spade that didn't pair the board as a way to win the hand. Unfortunately for Partow, the river came {6-Clubs} and Weissman was able to rake in the pot and double up.
