Martin Rising

Level 24 : 20,000/40,000, 0 ante

Once the short stack not too long ago, Leonard Martin is now up to 470,000 in chips. Eli Elezra has slipped back a bit to 220,000 and David Bach sits on 830,000. This is a result of a recent pot between the three where Martin was driving the action after the first draw. Eventually, he got both of his opponents to fold to his bet on the end and won the pot.

Eli Elezra cheers after winning a small pot as opponent, David Bach, is amused.

We haven't mentioned David Bach's name much since before the dinner break and that's because he hasn't done much. He was involved in this one though.

Bach raised from under the gun and Eli Elezra called from the big blind. Both players then drew one card and Elezra check-called Bach's bet. On the second draw, both players took one card again. Elezra checked, Bach bet and Elezra called.

It was time for the final draw and both players still needed to take another card. The dealer gave one to each of them and collected their discards. Elezra then led out into Bach. Bach mucked his hand and Elezra won the pot.
