Battle of the Blinds Gives Peng Chip Lead

Level 28 : 25,000/50,000, 5,000 ante

Darryl Ronconi raised to 125,000 from the small blind after the four players in position all folded. Vanessa Peng was in the big blind and reraised to 275,000. After some thought, Ronconi raised again to 975,000. Peng eventually decided to move all in for 1.8 million and Ronconi wasted little time making the call.

Ronconi: {j-Clubs}{j-Spades}
Peng: {9-Diamonds}{9-Spades}

Peng was on the brink of elimination again and needed a lot of help to stay alive. A lot of help is exactly what she got though when the dealer rolled out the {9-Hearts}{q-Clubs}{q-Spades} for the flop. Now it was Ronconi that was in trouble. The turn {5-Hearts} and river {8-Clubs} were two bricks for him and he sent the biggest pot of the tournament so far over to Peng. He has just 400,000 remaining while she becomes our new chip leader with 3,650,000
