Wice on Fire

Considering that the table where Alexander Wice is sitting at is the closest to where we type out all this magic, we cant help but notice when a big pot occurs there if we are on our way to check on some other tables. This was certainly the case where the board read {6-}{5-}{2-}{8-}{3-} and Wice faced a big river bet by Jeffrey Gibralter. Wice made the call and Gibralter sheepishly turned over {A-}{2-}{J-}{J-} for just a pair of jacks and a six-low. Wice had him crushed as he revealed {A-}{4-}{10-}{8-} for the wheel, which had "earthy tones, a smooth draw, enough kick to win (him) the Hi and the Lo (thats a Rounders quote for anyone who doesnt realize).

The very next hand, Lauchlin McKinnon got it all in preflop against Wice who had him dominated.

Wice: {A-Hearts}{A-Clubs}{8-Hearts}{7-Clubs}
McKinnon: {A-}{10-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}{9-Clubs}

The board ran out {8-Diamonds}{4-Clubs}{3-Spades}{8-Clubs}{5-Spades} to give Wice aces up and a low for the knockout as he continued to move up the leaderboard.
