Welcome back to the Rio for continued coverage of Event 38: $1,500 No-Limit Hold'em here at the 2012 World Series of Poker.
Out of 2,502 players who started the day, a total of 277 players will return to the felt with a chance at making a run at the final table and the $607,200 first-place prize. Of the 277 returning players, 270 will go home with a min-cash, while seven will go home empty handed.
Of those players it is Layne Flack who is in the best shape to go all the way as he will be starting the day with a monster 229,700 in chips. The next closest player to Flack has only 156,900.
Some of the players who have plenty of chips to scare today include Dan Smith, Jim Collopy and Tommy Vedes. Lauren Kling is also in great shape as she amassed a very impressive 123,300 in chips.
We will be bursting the bubble very quickly today and then it will be all out action from there for the rest of the night. All the no-limit action is set to begin at 1:00 PM, so stay tuned as PokerNews will have all the live updates coming your way.
