Juanda Slips, Doubles

John Juanda is hanging on by a thread...but he is hanging on tightly.

In a recent hand, action folded around to Juanda in the small blind. Juanda raised to 14,000 and Nam Le decided to flat from the big.

The flop came {2-Hearts}{5-Diamonds}{10-Clubs} and Juanda checked. Le didn't take long to put Juanda all in for his remaining 23,000. Juanda dejectedly mucked.

The very next hand, action folded around to Juanda on the button and he raised pot. Nick Jivkov put Juanda all in from the big blind and Juanda called.

Juanda: {A-Clubs}{A-Spades}
Jivkov: {10-Clubs}{10-Spades}

"There are those aces he's been waiting for!" tablemate Negreanu said.

The board ran out {8-Spades}{Q-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}{4-Clubs} and Juanda doubled up.

Juanda is sitting on 50,000 now, but is still very much short-stacked.
