Hand #51: Trevor Pope raised to 80,000 in the cutoff, Jamie Armstrong defended his big blind, and the dealer fanned {k-Hearts}{9-Spades}{6-Spades}. Armstrong check-called 55,000 from Pope, and both players checked after the {9-Diamonds} turned. The river brought the {8-Hearts}, and Armstrong led out for 140,000. Pope folded.

Hand #52: Pope raised to 80,000 in first position, winning the blinds and antes.

Hand #44: Dan Kelly opened to 60,000 out of the cutoff, Trevor Pope three-bet to 125,000 out of the small blind, and Kelly called.

The flop fell {10-Spades}{6-Diamonds}{7-Clubs}, Pope check-called 65,000 from Kelly, and the turn brought the {10-Diamonds}. Pope checked again, Kelly moved all in for 250,000, and Pope instantly called.

According to the PokerNews Odds Calculator, Kelly was a 95.45% favorite to double up, but the {7-Diamonds} spiked on the river, miraculously giving Pope sevens full of tens.

Kelly silently took his exit, and is out sixth-place finisher, earning $83,552.
