McNeil Widens the Gap

Level 28 : 25,000/50,000, 0 ante

Calen McNeil and Can Kim Hua have been the two biggest stacks all final table, and so far, they pretty much stayed away from each other. However, McNeil just took a big pot that has seen him open up a lead over the rest of the field.

McNeil opened the action from under the gun with a raise, and Hua defended his big blind. The flop came down {a-Hearts}{a-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}, and Hua pulled a check raise on McNeil. He made the call, and the {k-Clubs} hit the turn. Hua led out, and McNeil called to see the {a-Clubs} hit the river. Hua checked this time, and McNeil fired out. Hua called, and McNeil announced "kings full" and showed {k-Hearts}{k-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}{5-Diamonds}. Hua tapped the table, rechecked his cards a couple of times, then mucked, giving the big pot to McNeil.
