At the start of the 2013 WSOP, Smith cashed in the $1,500 No Limit Hold'em Six-Handed tournament, finishing 41st for a $5,599. Last week, Smith came second in one of the $365 buy-in Carnivale of Poker events here at the Rio, a result that netted him $12,266.
Now he is on course for yet another cash here in this tournament.
