Artur Koren Eliminated in 14th Place ($9,628)

Level 16 : 0/0, 2,000 ante
Artur Koren
Artur Koren

The action started with Artur Koren opening to 50,000 in chips. He had left himself 11,500 behind, as one-by-one, his opponents folded, as it arrived at Blair Hinkle. He spent a good minute or so deliberating over the call, before finally mucking his hand. Louis Bonnecaze was the last player to act, and he tanked for a few minutes as well, before accidentally announcing "call", even though he was meant to go all in.

The flop came down {5-Diamonds}{5-Clubs}{2-Hearts}, and Koren threw in his last 11,500, and Bonnecaze called, with 500 less.

Koren: {k-Spades}{j-Diamonds}
Bonnecaze: {8-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}

Koren was unable to catch a higher pair, as the board ran out the {4-Hearts} and {8-Clubs} to see him fall to just 500 in chips.

In the next hand, Koren was all in for a quarter of the ante, and after Chris Moormans bet of 7,000 scared everyone else out of the pot, the cards were shown.

Koren: {k-Hearts}{5-Diamonds}
Moorman: {A-Clubs}{9-Spades}

This time the board favored Koren, as it ran out {7-Clubs}{2-Hearts}{7-Hearts}{5-Clubs}{3-Spades}, to see him move up to 3,500, after turning two-pair.

In the third and final hand, five players limped into the pot, as did Koren (leaving himself 1,000 behind), before Tommy Vedes raised it up to 11,500. It was enough to bring instant folds from everyone, before Koren called.

Koren: {k-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}
Veded: {A-Clubs}{K-Clubs}

Again, Koren took the lead, when the flop fell {10-Hearts}{6-Hearts}{2-Clubs}. However, Vedes regained his lead, when the {a-Spades} fell on the turn, and it was all over for Koren, when the {k-Hearts} completed the board.
