World famous soccer star Gerard Piqué was drawing plenty of attention all day, but he unfortunately busted a short while ago. We missed the bustout as it happened, but one of his table mates was kind enough to give us some details on the hand.

According to him, Piqué raised it up preflop, and the player next to him made it 4,000 to go. James Alexander called the three bet, and Piqué did as well. The three saw a flop of {9-}{8-}{x-} with two hearts, and Piqué open shoved all in for the remainder of his stack, about 12,000 total. The original three bettor folded, but Alexander made the call.

Alexander: {8-}{8-}
Piqué: {a-Hearts}{k-Hearts}

Piqué was hoping his overcards were outs, but Alexander's set meant that Piqué could only grab a heart for the win. Well the hand was over when a {9-} came on the turn, giving Alexander a full house and ending Piqué's day before the dinner break.
