Alexander Earns a Double

Level 28 : 40,000/80,000, 10,000 ante

After Jason Mann raised to 170,000 from middle position, James Alexander reraised all in for 855,000 from the cutoff and it folded back around to Mann.

Mann was considering what to do and began talking as his did, mentioning that he had eight-high and it would be a bad call. A floor person instructed Mann not to talk about his hand further or he'd risk a penalty, and at last Mann did make the call.

Mann indeed had eight-high, tabling {8-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}, while Alexander showed {K-Clubs}{Q-Hearts}. The board ran out {J-Spades}{Q-Clubs}{9-Spades}{5-Clubs}{7-Spades}, and Alexander doubled up.
