Brunson Runs Kings Into Aces

Level 9

Pot-Limit Omaha

Doyle Brunson limped under the gun only to have Alexandre Luneau three-bet to 9,000 from the cutoff. The button and blinds all folded, and Brunson pushed back with a four-bet to 30,000. Luneau five-bet shoved for 75,500 and Brunson made the call.

Brunson: {k-Hearts}{k-Clubs}{6-Hearts}{4-Clubs}
Luneau: {a-Hearts}{a-Clubs}{j-Diamonds}{4-Hearts}

The {q-Diamonds}{q-Clubs}{9-Diamonds} flop kept Luneau in the lead, as did the {4-Spades} turn. The {Q-Hearts} river gave both players a full house, but of course Luneau's was best and he doubled through.
