Tens Good For Choi

Level 4 : 6,000/12,000, 2,000 ante

Stanley Choi limped the hijack and Cary Katz followed suit from the cutoff. Daniel Negreanu joined from the button, Erick Lindgren completed, and Phil Galfond checked from the big blind.

The five players took a flop of {8-Hearts}{6-Hearts}{9-Spades} and there were two checks to Choi. He fired 35,000, Katz folded, and Negreanu tossed out a call. The two blinds got out of the way, leaving Choi and Negreanu heads up to fourth street. The dealer put out the {10-Diamonds} on the turn and Choi slowed with a check. Negreanu took this opportunity to fire out 60,000. Choi stuck around.

Both players checked the {K-Clubs} on the river and Choi showed {Q-Spades}{10-Spades} for a pair of tens. Negreanu let out a chuckle before tossing his cards away. Choi pulled the pot and now sits on about 2.24 million in chips.
