Wong Extends Chip Lead

Level 25 : 25,000/50,000, 5,000 ante

Danny Wong raised to 115,000 and David Eldridge defended his big blind. Eldridge check-called a bet of 90,000 on the {7-Diamonds}{j-Clubs}{2-Spades} flop and then again for 190,000 on the {k-Spades} turn.

The river was the {3-Diamonds} and Eldridge checked for a third time, but eventually folded to a bet of 305,000 from Wong.

Adler Doubles Through Volpe

Level 25 : 25,000/50,000, 5,000 ante

Paul Volpe raised to 115,000 from mid-position. Adam Adler shoved from the cutoff. Volpe asked for a count and the dealer confirmed Adler had 515,000 in front of him.

"I think you're ahead" Volpe said while making the call.

Adam Adler: {A-Hearts}{q-Clubs}
Paul Volpe: {8-Clubs}{7-Clubs}

The board ran out {5-Spades}{6-Diamonds}{k-Diamonds}{6-Clubs}{3-Clubs} - Adler's high cards held and he doubled up.

Foxen Cracks Aces, Doubles Through Kenney

Level 25 : 25,000/50,000, 5,000 ante
Alex Foxen
Alex Foxen

In the first hand of the final table, Bryn Kenney raised to 125,000 from middle position and Danny Wong called from the small blind. Alex Foxen three-bet shoved 865,000 from the big blind, Kenney reshoved and Wong quickly folded.

Alex Foxen: {10-Spades}{10-Clubs}
Bryn Kenney: {A-Clubs}{A-Hearts}

Kenney was in prime position to deliver the knock out to the dangerous Foxen and grab the chip lead in the process, but it wasn't meant to be. The {7-Hearts}{3-Spades}{5-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}{6-Clubs} rundown gave Foxen the ten he needed for a crucial double-up and he soared to 1.9 million.

Eric Blair Eliminated in 11th Place ($21,734)

Level 25 : 25,000/50,000, 5,000 ante
Eric Blair
Eric Blair

Eric Blair moved all in from the button for 475,000. Paul Volpe asked for a count in the small blind before just calling. Bryn Kenney, perhaps smelling a rat, folded his big blind.

Eric Blair: {q-Clubs}{5-Clubs}
Paul Volpe: {k-Clubs}{k-Diamonds}

For the second all-in in a row, Blair held queen-five suited, but there was to be no shocks on this board, with Volpe flopping him dead on an {8-Diamonds}{k-Spades}{2-Hearts}{4-Clubs}{j-Clubs} runout to bring play to an unofficial final table of ten.

Eldridge Doubles Through Black

Level 25 : 25,000/50,000, 5,000 ante

David Eldridge shoved for 405,000 in early position, Taylor Black came over the top all in and all other players folded.

David Eldridge: {A-Clubs}{K-Spades}
Taylor Black: {K-Clubs}{Q-Clubs}

Black spiked the queen on the {Q-Diamonds}{J-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds} flop and Eldridge was now the one in trouble. He whiffed the {2-Spades} turn but found the {A-Spades} he needed on the river to save his tournament life.

The hand afterwards, Elio Fox raised to 110,000, Eldridge three-bet to 290,000 and Fox folded.

Antonio Lievano

Antonio Lievano shoved from the button for about 700,000 and was called by Danny Wong in the big blind.

Antonio Lievano: {A-Diamonds}{K-Clubs}
Danny Wong: {8-Spades}{8-Hearts}

The board ran out {4-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}{10-Hearts}{7-Diamonds}{2-Spades} - no help for Lievano as he was eliminated in 12th place.

Blair Doubles Through Kenney

Level 25 : 25,000/50,000, 5,000 ante
Eric Blair
Eric Blair

Eric Blair moved all in for 265,000 (5bb) from under-the-gun. Bryn Kenney called in late position.

Eric Blair: {q-Hearts}{5-Hearts}
Bryn Kenney: {k-Hearts}{9-Spades}

There was a five on the flop of {a-Hearts}{5-Clubs}{3-Hearts} which also gave Blair a flush draw. The turn {10-Spades} and river {4-Spades} didn't help Kenney and Blair doubled up.
