Stoic Kurtzman Waits for His Rival's Hand Declared Dead
Level 3
: 75/150, 150 ante
Eric Kurtzman was betting 1,800 on the turn reading with just over 5,000 already in the pot. His opponent check-called leaving himself about 8,000 behind.
The river came and the action was checked to Kurtzman again. Kurtzman announced he was all-in, covering his rival by roughly 2,000 or so.
It took about three minutes before someone at the table called the clock. The player received 30 seconds to make his decision and an additional five-five second countdown, and he used it all until his hand has been declared dead.
Kurtzman was stoic for the whole time and slowly sent his cards face down towards the dealer.
