Palacios Doubles Through Freedman

Level 21 : 5,000/10,000, 1,000 ante

Marco Palacios just informed the PokerNews Live Reporting team that he had recently doubled.

The hand began with Palacios tossing out a single green chip and announcing an opening raise to 25,000 from under the gun with {J-}{J-}. Wendy Freedman was on the button, didn't notice the open, and threw out 21,000, which bound her to call.

The flop came {J-}{4-}{2-} and both players checked.

The turn was an {A-}, Palacios bet 50,000, and Freedman called.

A {Q-} fell on the river and Palacios jammed for 225,000. Freedman called with a covering stack and tabled {A-}{Q-} for top two pair only to see Palacios table his flopped set to take the pot for a full double-up.
