Hands #99-103: Jex Doubles Up and Then Loses Most of It

Level 26 : 30,000/60,000, 0 ante

Hand #99: Robert Nehorayan raised from the button and Terricita Gutierrez called in the big blind. The flop came {9-Diamonds}{2-Clubs}{5-Spades}, both players checked and again on the {q-Diamonds} turn. On the river, the action went bet raise call and Gutierrez showed pocket queens for a set and won the pot.

Hand #100: David Gee raised from the hijack and the rest folded.

Hand #101: Kevin Song raised from the small blind and Michael Jex three-bet all-in from the big blind for 75,000. Song called.

Michael Jex: {K-Clubs}{10-Clubs}
Kevin Song: {10-Spades}{4-Hearts}

The board ran out {q-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}{6-Clubs} to give Jex the same pair of tens as Song but with the king-kicker for the double-up.

Hand #102: Jex raised from the small blind and Gee three-bet his big blind. Jex called. The flop came {5-Spades}{k-Hearts}{5-Diamonds}, Jex check-folded when Gee bet.

Hand #103: Song raised from the cutoff and Gee three-bet from the small blind. Action folded back to Song who decided to four-bet. Gee called. The flop came {5-Hearts}{5-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds}, Gee check-called Song's bet. The turn brought them the {4-Diamonds} and again Gee check-called Song's continuation bet. The river completed the board with the {q-Diamonds} on which they both checked. Song had {a-Clubs}{a-Spades} but the {9-Diamonds}{9-Hearts} of Gee won him the hand on the river.
