Calderaro Doubles Through Mizrachi

Level 22 : 20,000/40,000, 0 ante

James Calderaro limped the button and Robert Mizrachi called in the small blind, Bogdan Capitan checked his option in the big blind. On the {A-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}{5-Clubs} flop, Mizrachi and Capitan checked and Calderaro bet 120,000. Mizrachi quickly check-raised to 400,000 to force out Capitan, while Calderaro was sent into the think tank.

"Damn, I might actually fold aces up. Diamonds?" Calderaro said in table chat to get any kind of reaction, but Mizrachi just smiled back. Eventually, Calderaro moved all in for 705,000 and Mizrachi called.

James Calderaro: {A-Hearts}{7-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}{5-Hearts}
Robert Mizrachi: {A-Clubs}{K-Diamonds}{9-Spades}{2-Clubs}

Calderaro was ahead with aces and fives, and the {10-Diamonds} turn and {6-Spades} river run out changed nothing to let the defending champion double for the second time in half an hour.
